Philippine Ambassador Spouse Mme Yoko Ramos Vingno organized another Forum for the Philippine Ladies Circle

01 August 2016 – The Philippine Ladies Circle (PLC) Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy, held a forum on the evolution of the Philippine terno and beauty talks on July 22 at the Embassy premises.

Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, Chair of the PLC Abu Dhabi, welcomed the participants in the forum. She thanked the speakers, members of the Philippine Ladies Circle, and special guests for the continued support and hopes to conduct more activities and workshops on personality development and other areas.

Aldwin Jlo Ornopia Guardiana, an emerging name in the UAE fashion industry, talked on how the Filipiniana and Mestiza Terno progressed from different colonial eras. He stressed that wearing the national dress in a proper way reflects the class and glamour of the Filipina.

Mylene Escaño De Guzman, Team Director and Business Consultant at Alphanetworld Corporation (NWORLD), talked about skin care. She and her team from NWORLD demonstrated a step-by-step regimen using her personally-recommended beauty products to help keep a youthful glow.

Emcee Anthony Sy-Nillas invited willing participants to a skin care demo and make-up tutorial conducted by the guest speakers at the end of the forum. END
